Here's What You Get:

If parenting has felt more overwhelming, activating, or lonely than you expected, this workshop will help you understand why. Inside, we explore the connection between sensitivity, stress, grief, trauma and nervous system overwhelm, so you can better understand your child, your own triggers, and the patterns playing out in your family. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of regulation, co-regulation, and the healing work that supports calmer, more connected families.
This workshop is a deep dive into what it really means to be a highly sensitive person. Inside, I break down the core traits of high sensitivity, how it shows up in the brain, body, emotions, and sensory system, why highly sensitive people are more prone to overstimulation, and how genetics, environment, trauma and nervous system wiring all shape the experience. Parents will come away with a much clearer understanding of their child, themselves, and the tools that help sensitive people thrive.
Inside this workshop, with guest Dr. Tamara Soles, we take a thoughtful, nuanced look at autism and how it relates to high sensitivity and sensory processing differences, so parents can better understand what they’re seeing in their child. We explore what autism actually is, how it often presents differently than people expect, especially in girls, where it overlaps with high sensitivity, and what meaningfully distinguishes the two. We also talk about masking, empathy, meltdowns, the diagnostic process, and how to speak to children about their differences in a way that feels empowering rather than pathologizing.
In this episode, I share my adult autism assessment journey and unpack the bigger questions that so often surround that process. We explore the overlap between high sensitivity, autism, ADHD, and trauma, how autism can present differently in girls and women, what the assessment process actually looked like for me, and why so many adults first begin questioning autism through the lens of their children. I also talk about what diagnosis can offer beyond services or accommodations: language, validation, self-compassion, and a more coherent understanding of your life and nervous system
In this podcast episode, I break down the difference between being highly sensitive and having a sensory processing disorder. We look at Elaine Aron’s DOES framework, unpack the sensory piece of high sensitivity, and explore how sensory processing disorder is different, including the role of both over- and under-responsiveness, sensory modulation, and functional impact. This episode will help parents better understand what they’re seeing in their child and when it may be worth exploring further support.
